These are hands down my most favorite shirt. I wear them all the time. I am posting two stars as recently I purchased a new set to find the fit is smaller and the texture of the shirt has changed. Their are small snags all over the shirt and I have barely worn it. I will stick with the old ones I have until I can wear them no more! I hope they go back to they way they used to make them.

The one I bought a few years ago is my absolute favorite shirt... I wish I had bought more then, because they've changed. The fabric is flimsy and shapeless and the sleeves no longer have the nice cuffs. It doesn't fit well - baggy in the wrong places and tight in other wrong places, whereas the old one I have (in the same size as the new one) fit me snugly and comfortably. Unfortunately my mother didn't realize the change when she bought me a new one... I wouldn't have bought it myself!
Huge step backward on this 'update!' Bring back the old fabric and style!
I'll continue looking for the old ones at the thrift stores, but I don't think anyone will be giving them up soon...

This is my favorite shirt.........I have 6, and am about to order 2 more. It's great alone or under a sweater, and always looks neat and stylish. Washes like a dream. I bought my first ones 6 years ago, and only wish they came in more colors.

This shirt is awesome. I wear it under my uniform shirt and it keeps me very warm during the cold desert nights. I just bought another so that laundry day isn't so cold. :)

Thank you, REI, for going back to the original fabric! I love this shirt! I only wish it were a little longer. The XS fits me great, but is somewhat short and comes untucked when skiing. The S is looser, but stays tucked in.

I bought three of these right before a two-week trip in January to two different climates (snow and sunny desert). They pack very small, are super comfortable, don't pick up odors easily. Although the fabric is thin, I was able to get away with wearing them as street wear, which greatly simplified my wardrobe and packing.

Given this flexibility, I would prefer that REI consider refraining from fusing shiny plastic logos to these pieces in two places (arm and near hem). Also, I personally would prefer a straight hem rather than the dropped tail.

I also have one of these that I purchased about 3 years ago and I adore that shirt! It fits great and the fabric is super soft and smooth. The new version of the shirt I bought feels completely different and not as stretchy. It has a texture to it that is almost like a waffle weave. Not nearly as comfortable as the old version. REI, please go back to the old version!!!
